Last December, Slow Recipe proudly participated in Unboxing Day 2025, a major event hosted in Seoul by Hanjin, South Korea's leading logistics company.Unboxing Day is more than just an exhibition; it embodies the excitement consumers feel when opening a box. It's a platform where brands, partners, and logistics companies collaborate to unpack new possibilities and shape the future of the industry. The event has firmly established itself as a crucial forum for discussing the current state and future trajectory of the Korean e-commerce sector.Celebrating its third year, Unboxing Day 2025 served as a moment to reflect on the year's achievements, express gratitude to clients, and, most importantly, operate as a dynamic platform for sharing immediately actionable business insights. It was impressive to see sellers and brand representatives—many preparing for global market entry beyond Korea—gather in one place to share experiences and network organically.The Insight Program was particularly vibrant, featuring discussions on the evolution of Korean consumer goods, with a focus on K-Beauty and K-Fashion, global consumer characteristics, and strategies for brand-influencer collaborations. Hanjin also showcased its advanced logistics infrastructure and digital platform, underscoring the key takeaway: logistics is not merely "delivery" but a vital component driving business growth.

Slow Recipe introduced its booth at Unboxing Day under the slogan, ‘The Warmest Gift for the Planet.’ Capitalizing on the festive season, we utilized a Christmas theme while meticulously designing the space to naturally reflect the core values Slow Recipe stands for.Our visual approach was a deliberate departure from typical Christmas displays. We chose green and orange as the main colors instead of traditional red, creating a natural, warm atmosphere that visually expressed the comfortable sustainability we pursue.The booth featured a dedicated display showcasing products curated based on Slow Recipe’s Sustainable Values, clearly outlining our brand criteria. On the opposite side, a unique Slow Recipe Tree—adorned with products and natural materials—allowed visitors to intuitively grasp our brand message.This Christmas tree was not decorated with flashy ornaments or glitter. Instead, it was completed by sustainable brands and products, gathered like branches. Each product was more than a decoration; it represented a small, conscious choice we can make daily—a story. The collective message was that these small choices add up to become the warmest gift we can give the Earth.

We hosted an interactive event that invited visitors to actively participate in shaping Slow Recipe’s message.Guests were encouraged to write a “Warm Message for the Planet” on an ornament card. By hanging their message on the Slow Recipe Tree, they earned a chance to participate in our gachapon (capsule toy) draw.Each gachapon capsule contained one of the 16 product values that Slow Recipe prioritizes. Participants received a product corresponding to the value they drew. This thoughtful structure meant the event wasn't just about luck; it was a natural way for people to learn what values each featured product upholds.Nearly 200 visitors participated during the event, and every single message card on the tree helped make the Slow Recipe booth a genuinely warmer space. We saw genuine sentiments shared in these short messages, facilitating an organic sense of shared empathy for sustainability.

Slow Recipe is not merely a product sales platform. We aspire to be a brand that helps make sustainable choices a natural, everyday habit, rather than an extraordinary commitment. We believe our role is to collaborate and suggest pathways, allowing everyone to choose a slightly better direction at their own pace, even if it’s not always perfect.Our participation in Unboxing Day was an extension of this vision. By blending products, our message, and visitor participation, we aimed to share the story of sustainability in a gentler, warmer way.
