Project 1907 is an upcycling lifestyle brand that aims for a greener world. Seeing so much waste and plastic pollution, the founder wanted to create a brand that could study and develop plastic alternatives that could lead to a much more eco-friendly consumption of goods and raw materials. Paving the way towards a plastic free society and more sustainable planet for future generations.
PLATEX
PLATEX is a fabric made from 20 discarded plastic bottles (500ml) that have been cleaned and crushed into small pieces in Korea. While many eco-friendly fabrics use at least 50% recycled materials, project 1907 is the first Korean startup to produce a fabric made entirely from recycled plastic, called PLATEX
project 1907 started an upcycling business to create a plastic-free society. We research and develop plastic alternatives for a healthier planet by recycling waste resources, including plastic.
We're building a circular system where waste resources are recycled and reused. By producing and selling useful upcycled lifestyle products, we aim to create a virtuous cycle for these materials.
We believe that our eco-friendly consumption will inspire positive actions and create a sustainable world for future generations.
