‘Love Jeju Edition’ is a project that presents Pleatsmama’s solution to the waste problem found particularly near tourist attractions. In areas with more visitors, it is not surprising that oftentimes more garbage can be found in those locations. Through numerous trial and error, Pleatsmama has been able to successfully colly and recycle domestic PET bottles into the world’s first polyester yarn, ‘Rezen Jeju’ and recycled spandex, 'Creora Rezen’
The Pleatsmama shoulder bag is made from eco-friendly materials including recycled PET bottles. The bag itself is light and soft to the touch but can still store an abundant amount of products due to its high elasticity from its 7% recycled spandex material. The X-shaped strap ensures that the bag won’t easily slip and slide while being worn. Offered in a vast array of colors. When not in use, it’s easy to store or carry by simply folding along the lines of the bag and tucking away.
